ALUVION ROYO I
PROSPECTING & EXPLORATION

Geological Location

The targeted area is located at the apex of a hydrographic basin, an area composed of highly mineralized hydrothermal deposits, in the Cordillera Preandina area, San Juan province - Argentina. The concession is located in the hearth of the vast mining district N° 5, which covers 1,300 hectares. Numerous geological studies and scientific evidence prove that the area is highly mineralized with gold [Au], silver [Ag], copper [Cu] and Rare Earth Elements (REE).

Advanced exploration

Preliminary prospecting and exploration campaigns conducted by GREEN MINING between 2020 and 2023, carried out with a well-defined plan of sampling and analyses certified by specialized laboratories, showed highly positive results to induce the company to further the geological studies of the deposit through the advanced exploration phase.

Photogrammetric & Planoaltimetric drone survey

Using the survey of 3D topography and geomorphology, a well-distributed advanced exploration program can be developed throughout the area. The deposit's exploration phase was completed with in-depth geological studies of the mining area to develop an comprehensive plan for the responsible and sustainable management of the project, in order to optimize and enhance the natural capital available to Green Mining.

MULTI-METALLIC DEPOSIT

The deposit is geologically classified as multi-metallic, as commercially strategic quantities of important elements are estimated in the exploration campaign:
  • Precious minerals: [Au, Ag, Pt, Pd]
  • Rare earth elements (REE): [Ce, Dy, Er, Eu, Gd, Ho, La, Lu, Nd, Pr, Sm, Tb, Th, Tm, Y, Yb, Sc]

This geological conformation allows Green Mining to exploit the deposit by constantly extracting the large amounts of surface sediments in the basin that are cyclically deposited in the concession.

NATURAL METALS CLASSIFICATION IN OUR DEPOSIT

Unlike classic projects for the direct extraction of gold, silver and various metals from rock, the interest is based on the particularity of the “Aluvion Royo I” project, which consists of sediments generated by the natural action of morphological disintegration caused by atmospheric agents in the area; therefore, it refers to the classification of the metalliferous sediments contained in the sedimentary deposits of the valley floor.

The exploitation process was defined as strategic, as it allows the natural physical and magnetic concentration of minerals to be exploited, separating the particles according to their natural properties, using only physical methods.
